Andrew Sullivan, SOCS (Retired)

Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Andrew Sullivan medically retired from the US military in 2020 after nearly two decades of service in the Special Operations community, including six years at SEAL Team Two and eleven years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group. 

His many combat commendations include the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, the Purple Heart Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, six Joint Service Commendation Medals with combat valor, two navy and Marine Commendation medals with valor, three Presidential Unit Citations and numerous other joint and individual awards.

Following his time in service, Andrew started BlueForce Strategic Action Group, a SDVOSB that provides tactical, security, and leadership consulting to the DOD, Federal, and Law Enforcement Agencies. Additionally, Mr. Sullivan has consulted with several organizations advocating for mental health treatment for Veterans and First Responders. He is a board member at One Summit, a 501c3 that provides resilience training for pediatric cancer patients. 

Andrew has a MS in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston, West Virginia, and currently resides in Virginia Beach, VA, with his two daughters. 

Karl “Gus” Gustavson, SOCS (Retired)

Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Karl “Gus” Gustavson retired from the US military in 2024 after 22 years of active-duty service in the Special Operations community, including five years at SDV Team Two and 15 years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group.

During his career, Gus was awarded various combat commendations including three Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, the Purple Heart Medal, 5 Joint Service Commendation Medals with combat valor, 3 Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medals, three Presidential Unit Citations and other joint and individual awards.

Following his time in service, Gus founded Lōgos Leadership and Team Building LLC, to work with various leadership teams and pass along the lessons he learned during his career in Naval Special Warfare. Gus also actively consults with various non-profit organizations helping military veterans and their families including, Boot Campaign, All Secure Foundation, Beyond the Brotherhood, Special Operations Survivors, and others.

   

Paul Fitzgerald, Superintendent Boston Police (Retired)

Paul Fitzgerald has 31 years of law enforcement experience with the Boston Police Department, the last 9 as a Superintendent.

Throughout his career, while rising through the ranks of the Police Department, he held several significant positions, to include Chief of Intelligence. While serving in this position, he maintained overall responsibility for Homeland Security matters in the Metropolitan Boston area. Additionally, he served as Security Director for the Boston Public School System, and Commander of the Youth Violence Strike Force.

Fitzgerald was the senior Boston Police Officer assigned to work with the FBI on two of the most significant terrorism cases in the United States, the Boston Marathon terrorist attack investigation in 2013, and the 2015 terrorism investigation of a small cell that was plotting to behead police officers in Boston.  Throughout his career, he has maintained and implemented best practices in policing.

Fitzgerald attended the Naval Post Graduate School’s Executive Leaders Program in Monterey, CA, served on the Director of National Intelligence Advisory Board, assisted the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit in creating a best practices monograph on active shooter and threat assessments, and was the Distinguished Guest Speaker at the National Counter Terrorism Center in Washington D.C.

Froylan Delarosa, SOCM (Retired)

Master Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Froylan Delarosa serves as the Executive Director of Community First Project, where he brings over two decades of elite military leadership, operational discipline, and strategic execution to advance community safety and impact. He focuses on aligning people, processes, and mission to build scalable programs that deliver measurable outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.

Delarosa enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1997, serving aboard the USS George Washington with two deployments to the Persian Gulf. After completing Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in 2002, he was assigned to SEAL Team EIGHT for eight years, followed by fourteen years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He retired in 2025 after thirteen deployments supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and global contingency operations. His awards include three Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, multiple Joint Service and Navy Commendation Medals with valor, and three Presidential Unit Citations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University and remains committed to leadership, family, fitness, and continuous growth.
