Community First Project Delivers Training to Six Texas Departments
Six Texas law enforcement agencies came together in Boerne for a week-long training focused on de-escalation, threat identification, active shooter response, and operating effectively under pressure. Made possible by the generosity of the Jorge Pastore Foundation, this no-cost course gave officers hands-on experience to strengthen their skills and build stronger regional collaboration.

Fort Worth PD Complete Advanced Tactical Training
The recent tactical training with Fort Worth Police Department brought together officers from various units to sharpen their skills in high-pressure, real-world scenarios. From live-fire drills to complex room clearances and multi-floor movements, officers worked in both small teams and full-unit simulations to improve response times, coordination, and tactical decision-making.

Community First Project worked with the Newton Police Department to provide no-cost, hands-on training in active shooter response, de-escalation, and critical incident management. Officers applied these skills in realistic scenarios, building confidence and readiness for real-world situations. Thanks to supporters, these life-saving courses are accessible to departments that might not otherwise have the resources. When officers are prepared, communities are safer.

SEAL Fit Challenge - Nantucket, MA
SEAL Fit Challenge: Forged by the Sea, Transformed by the Experience
Led by a distinguished cadre of retired U.S. Navy SEALs, including SOCS Andrew Sullivan, SOCS Karl “Gus” Gustavson, and Commander Rich Diviney, the SEAL Fit Challenge experience pushed every individual far beyond their comfort zone. From a pre-dawn BUD/S-inspired workout to mentally taxing leadership drills and high-stakes team competitions, each evolution was meticulously designed to cultivate resilience, sharpen focus, and reinforce the power of trust under pressure.
Against the backdrop of Nantucket’s pristine shoreline, this was no ordinary fitness event. It was a fully immersive crucible that demanded physical endurance, mental agility, and collective resolve.

In Connecticut, officers from eight departments came together for no-cost, multi-day training focused on de-escalation, active shooter response, and critical incident management. Made possible by community support, this training equips officers with the tools they need to protect and serve—especially in moments that matter most.
Worcester PD SWAT Team Completes Specialized Tactical Training with Community First Project
Community First Project recently provided advanced tactical training to 46 members of the Worcester Police Department’s part-time SWAT team. Over two three-day sessions, officers trained in complex environments—like a mock triple-decker apartment and a vacant hotel—progressing rapidly from two-man entries to large-team clearances. Skipping range day due to their firearms proficiency, the team focused on room entries, decision-making, and communication under pressure. Even veteran officers called it some of the most valuable training of their careers.
San Juan County Training Day
Using realistic scenario-based exercises, including live role players and simulated ammunition, the C1P team conducted over a dozen simulated exercises training over Utah police officers.
Florida Training Day
Using realistic scenario-based exercises, including live role players and simulated ammunition, the BFS team conducted over a dozen simulated exercises training over 50 Florida police officers.
