Plantation Police Department Receives Active Shooter Response Training

Community First Project partnered with the Plantation Police Department in Florida to deliver critical incident / active shooter response training focused on enhancing officer readiness and community safety.

Throughout the program, officers participated in immersive, scenario-based exercises that strengthened their ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Training components emphasized rapid threat recognition, effective communication during high-stress encounters, coordinated responses to critical incidents, and strategies for managing complex, rapidly changing situations.

This collaboration reinforced the importance of proactive preparation and teamwork within law enforcement. By providing this high-quality instruction at no cost, Community First Project continues its mission to ensure that agencies like Plantation PD have the tools, training, and confidence necessary to protect their communities when every second counts.
